Mark’s theatre credits include Music Director for “High School Musical” (Drayton Entertainment), “Cinderella” (Ross Petty Productions), “Menopause Out Loud” (G4 Productions) “Broadway Heros” (David Rogers), “Starbright” (D2 Entertainment) and various shows with the Mantini Sisters. He was also Associate Musical Director for “Mamma Mia” (Mirvish Productions), “Dirty Dancing” (Mirvish Productions) and “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat” (Stage West). Currently Mark is the Music Director/Arranger for International Recording and Touring Artists “The Canadian Tenors”. Mark has shared also shared the stage with many artists including, Marvin Hamlish, Andrea Bocelli, Sting, Sheryl Crow, Dorian Harewood and Amy Skye. He was also featured as a Concert Artist for Yamaha Canada. Mark owns and operates his own recording studio IMAGINE Sound Studios. His Recording/Producer credits include the world premiere cast recording of the musical “Rob Roy”, “Adventures in Jazzland” (Jeff Healey), “Broadway Batchelor” (David Rogers), “Have a Little” (Dorian Harewood), “Friends” (Charlotte Moore) “I Should Have Been Famous by Now” (Steve Patterson). Mark’s T.V. and Radio composition and recording credits include commercials and corporate videos for Canada Post, Cosmopolitan Magazine, General Mills, Microsoft, General Motors. Mark has also written music for “Triple Sensation” (Produced by CBC/Garth Drabinsky) as well as scoring various documentaries for the History Channel and TLC. As an arranger, Mark has orchestrated “Chicago” and “Annie” for Neptune Theatre (Halifax), “Give My Regards to Broadway” for David Rogers (Tour), “Home For The Holidays” Mantini Sisters (Tour), “Starbright” (D2 Entertainment) and “Rodgers and Hammerstein with Hart” (Hamilton Philharmonic Orchestra). Mark also enjoys traveling across Canada when invited to give seminars, adjudicate competitions and vocal coach.

Warren Kimmel

Warren Kimmel was born in South Africa. He attended Cape Town University where he gained an honours degree in Business Science before being offered a place at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London.
Warren appeared extensively all over England in theatre and television and while in there, co-founded the Mouse People theatre co. with artistic director Julia Smith. The company was nominated for and won many different awards and toured throughout England , Scotland and South Africa. Warren performed in all these productions.Warren was also instrumental in mounting the English premiere of South African playwright Reza de Wet’s Crossing at the Riverside Studios in London.
Warren is appearing in The Sound of Music for the Mirvish Production Company.

Jeannie Wyse
Musical Director
Ms. Wyse received her Associateship Diplomas in Voice and Piano from the Western Conservatory of Music and also completed the Opera Programme at the American Institute for Musical Studies in Graz, Austria. She has toured North America with Riverdance - The Show and was the Musical Director for two seasons at the Georgian Theatre Festival. Ms. Wyse has also toured and recorded extensively with the Elmer Iseler Singers, including an appearance with the Canadian Brass at Carnegie Hall and the soundtrack to Schindler’s List with John Williams. She has also appeared as a soloist with the AIMS Festival Orchestra, Summer Opera Lab, Vocalpoint Chamber Choir and the Toronto Mendelssohn Youth Choir, with whom she was a Vocal Coach for seven years. Ms. Wyse is active as a voice teacher and clinician and is the Associate Music Director at Metropolitan Community Church Toronto. She is currently on the faculty at the Randolph Academy for the Performing Arts and has served as keyboardist for Mamma Mia!, Lord of the Rings and now the Mirvish Production of The Sound of Music.

Noreen Waibel
Musical Director
Ms. Waibel has worked extensively in musical theatre as a conductor, musical director, vocal coach and keyboard player. Currently she is the Vocal Director for all production shows at Disney Cruise Line, including the original productions “Twice Charmed”, “The Golden Mickeys” and “Toy Story The Musical”. Her musical direction credits include “Songs For a New World” (Color and Light Productions) and “Bloomer Girl” (Shaw Festival). Ms. Waibel was Assistant Conductor of “Mamma Mia” and “Miss Saigon”(Mirvish Productions), “Sunset Boulevard” and “Ragtime” (Livent), “Sweeney Todd” (Canadian Stage), and was Assistant Music Supervisor for the “Ragtime” US National Tour.
On keyboards, she has played numerous productions, including “Wicked”, “Jersey Boys”, “Putman County Spelling Bee” and “Whistle Down the Wind”.
Ms. Waibel has had the pleasure of working with many talented artists, including Matthew Broderick and Kristin Chenowith on the film “The Music Man”, and Drew Barrymore and Jessica Lange on the film “Grey Gardens”.
Other credits include conducting new works for the Windsor Symphony’s Canadian Music Festival, and attending Symphonic Workshops in the Czech Republic. Ms. Waibel is a graduate of the Berklee College of Music in Boston. She is proud to be sharing this evening of Sondheim with George Kozub on bass and Tom Jestadt on drums.
